The Netherlands (?)

This section includes a group of stained glass panels, some of which are classic examples of the Dutch tradition of glass painting, which was at its prime in the 15th-16th centuries. Other pieces are later examples of stained glass and their attribution requires clarification. In accordance with a number of features such as technique and technology and a complex mixed iconography, some of the stained glass panels presented in this section can be attributed to the 19th-century Netherlands, France and Germany.
