Olga Duzheva on the history of the funerary mask of Mahu

In July 2021, the restoration of the funerary mask of Mahu (New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty), a fascinating Ancient Egyptian object from our museum's collection, was completed. Due to the great interest shown in the history of this piece, we have prepared a "Five Questions to the Curator" video. Olga Dyuzheva, senior researcher at the Department of the Ancient East, doctor of art history, tells about the history of creation and use of the funerary mask and other items that belonged to Mahu from the museum's collection.
